My grandfather, Earl F. Helman taught here after his brother, Harley H. Helman, they both taught my grandmother, Edna M. (Burns) Helman. I have some pictures of both of the brothers and their students. Earl Helman wrote dairies and talked about riding his wheel, his Indian motorcycle and his horse, Henry to school. He later became the Clerk/treasurer of Hardin- Houston schools.
